There’s no shortage of delicious food in Hong Kong, but inexpensive options are limited. While taking a random tour around Hong Kong University, my husband and I stumbled upon a canteen around dinner time and figured, instead of getting out of campus for dinner, why not just dine here? And it was an excellent decision. Not only were outsiders allowed to order normally, the prices were very reasonable, with a white-cut chicken and roasted pork meal combo costing only 25 HKD! Most important, the quality of the food was amazing – just look at the colour on that chicken skin!!! Definitely one of the surprisingly memorable meals during the recent visit to Hong Kong 😀
