Mianwo

After more than a year and a half of living in Wuhan, I finally had mianwo for the first time. What is mianwo? Well, if not only one of the most classic and popular street snacks specific to Wuhan. It is a deep-fried, doughnut-shaped snack made of flour, milk, and green onions, sprinkled with sesame seeds. People usually have it for breakfast with soup noodles or soy milk because it tends to be freshly deep-fried and thus quite oily. But WOW it was delicious! So crispy on the outside but extremely soft on the inside. I’m in loooooooooooove ❤
