Item: Home-style stir-fried tofu

This plate of tofu was served at a farm in a village on the mountains near Wenzhou, and if this wasn’t the best tofu I’ve had in my life, it came very close. I can’t imagine it being made in any complicated way – it must have been one of the simplest home-style dishes that the villagers made every day but somehow it smelled and tasted so wonderful.
