Item: Soba ebi tempura maki

“King prawn with green tea noodles deep fried in tempura batter” – in maki form. Sounded intriguing, so I tried it and it was surprisingly and interestingly good. The green tea flavour in the noodles were definitely noticeable, and the entire maki was crispy. I am skeptical in calling it “Japanese” since I don’t know whether this would actually exist in Japan. Maybe…Scottish Japanese?
