Item: Selection of dim sum, fusion-style

I visited a restaurant in Bordeaux opened by an acquaintance about a year ago. It is a fusion-style restaurant combining elements of Chinese and French cuisine. For appetizer, we had a small selection of delicately prepared dim sum comprising a har gow (shrimp dumpling), sticky rice wrapped in bamboo leaves, and a siu mai (pork dumpling/ball) topped with escargot. It was a mix of the rich flavour of Chinese cuisine and the exquisiteness of French cuisine, something that was quite new to me!
