Item: Tom kha gai

Tom kha gai is a Thai style spicy and sour coconut soup. I think this one was vegetarian as I don’t remember it having any meat inside. I gotta say the taste of coconut was quite strong and unique – never had an appetizer quite like it :O

That’s what I missed when I was in Toronto recently.. I did manage to have sushi, ramen, pho, and other stuff.. but I love a good tom kha gai!
Yes Toronto is awesome with the huge variety of multicultural cuisine 😀
If you ever get a chance, come visit Vancouver. There’s also a lot of great food on the west coast. 😉
