The entire description of this dish at Guu is this: “Kakimayo – baked B.C. oyster with mushrooms, spinach & garlic mayo, topped with cheese”. I believe there were at least two gigantic oysters on each of these even more gigantic shells and it became my sister’s favourite dish of the night. Some people might think that eating oysters in any way other than RAW is destroying the oyster, but I beg to differ – baked oysters are superior than raw ones in my books 😉
